Kay Edson was born and raised in Alabama until one day she married her husband who swept her off her feet to join him in military pursuit. They went many places in his career until he retired. Kay worked as an office manager in Alabama for several years and they have raised three children. They have been living here in Franklin for two and a half years now.
Kay currently enjoys the art of painting with oil as her medium as well as exhibiting and selling them. She takes several classes and workshops plus loves going out and meeting other artists. She never will tire of visiting art galleries and has had the pleasure of visiting the Louvre long ago in which that experience never forgotten.
Kay has a tremendous admiration for artists with God given creativity and talent. With much delight, Kay works assiduously to create her own beautiful art while learning and seeking new techniques. Currently you can find artwork of hers displayed at the Uptown Gallery in Franklin, NC, managed by the Macon County Art Association, (MCAA).
